Caramelized Banana Toast

Ingredients:

  • @canyonglutenfree Heritage Style bread

  • 1-2 bananas

  • 1 tbsp. oil or butter

  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup

  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

  1. If toasting bread in the oven {gets EXTRA good & toasty}, preheat oven to 350F.

  2. I lightly coated both sides of the bread with a little oil and baked for 12 minutes—flipping them half way through the time.

  3. Cut your bananas into slices and sauté them in a pan {on medium heat} with the oil, syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon until most of the liquid has absorbed into the bananas.

  4. Top the bread with peanut butter, the caramelized bananas, some powdered sugar!
